Josh Cyrul Teams up with Shepherd Racing! | 03-14-2009

Shepherd Racing have announced that multiple US National Champion and multiple World Championship podium finisher Josh Cyrul has joined their international racing team. From now on Josh will use the Velox V8 for all 1/8th On-Road scale events and of course will also race with the upcoming Velox V10 as soon as it is available. As he has many years of experience with nitro on-road cars, his feedback will help the company finalizing the design of the V10 as well as improving the V8. Josh will attend all major US events, the Pre-Worlds and the World Championship in Lostallo. He has sent us the following statement:

Heading into the 2009 season and especially looking forward to the coming World Championships, I am extremely excited to join Shepherd Micro Racing. The Velox 1/8 car has already more than proven it’s capabilities and I’ve been impressed with the car since the moment I saw it. Now, actually going through the kit and holding one in my hand I’m even more happy and looking forward to a great future with Patrick and everyone at Shepherd.

Additonally his company CEFX will take over the exclusive distribution of Shepherd Micro Racing products for North America. Soon the homepage will be updated with the full information about Shepherd products. We are sure that CEFX will guarantee a premium support for all Shepherd customers in the US. With the existing contacts to hobby shops all over the US, CEFX has the possibilty to ensure a wide parts availability.

 

 


CEFX WINS 2004 U.S. Indoor Champs!!! | 11-29-2004

One year after being beat in a photo finish at the prestigious U.S. Indoor Championships, CEFX pilot Josh Cyrul jumped out to an early lead in the 1/12 A main and never looked back beating some of the top r/c racers in the World. This gives the C12 it's very first major event win on the one year anniversary of the first time a prototype C12 even hit the track!! Helping Josh to the win was the new Evo2 rear cross brace and top plate that provided improved rear geometry for extra rear stability and better handling over the bumpy sections of the track. These items will be shipping soon so keep and eye out for them!!

Also coming soon: Universal rear motor mounts and two different aluminum servo mounts!!



NORRCA Carpet Nationals to be held at Halo Hobbies | 10-06-2004

Earlier this year Josh Cyrul took on another project where he opened his very own hobby shop called Halo Hobbies. They are proud to announce that they will be the host to this years NORRCA Carpet Nationals November 4-7.

C-LMP900 is now not only ROAR but also EFRA approved!!! | 01-20-2004

That's right, the  C-LMP900 is now approved not only in the US under ROAR's
rules and regulations but it's also been approved by EFRA and the BRCA for
1/12 racing in England and all of Europe!!

David Spashett pilots the C12 to 2 nd place in it's prototype debut! | 11-29-2003

At the 2003 U.S. Indoor Champs, David Spashett drove his Peak powered CEFX C12 to an amazing photo finish with AE's John Orr. When the computer result came in David was awarded 2 nd place in one of the closest finishes in the Champ's esteemed history!! This was great achievement for a car that was built only days before the race with only several packs of testing. Congrats and thank you to David for such an effort and performance!!!

The C-LMP900 1/12 Body have been released and approved by ROAR | 11-23-2003

CEFX has gone through the steps and now it's C-LMP900 has been ROAR approved in time for this years U.S. Indoor Champs. This body went through several weeks of rigorous testing to fine tune it for maximum down force while still maintaining a smooth feel.

Josh Cyrul TQ's the IFMAR 1/8th World Champs with CEFX/Delta Lola | 10-11-2003

There was a new body that raised the bar at this years IFMAR 1/8 World Championships. This body was developed by CEFX owner Josh Cyrul for Delta Manufacturing. Over several months of racing many drivers have seen the advantage of this body and it was the body of choice at this year's World Champs. Josh also used this body on his Sirio powered Kyosho to lead the field through qualifying to the prestigious TQ position!! This 1/8 Lola is available through Delta Manufacturing!
