Shepherd Micro Racing are pleased to announce the release of the new Velox V10 1/10 scale 200mm chassis. Designed with the help of current World Champion Daniele Ielasi, the car has already been proving its performance on tracks around the World, finishing runner up at this year's ROAR Nationals in the hands of Josh Cyrul and winning the competitive Asian Cup in Bangkok driven by Jilles Groskamp. Seen for the first time as a one-off prototype at the 2009 International Toy Fair in Nuremberg, the chassis has undergone a lot of fine tuning in preparation for its public release.

BRL Series Opener @ Tri-State Hobbies- Tuesday 20 October, 2009

This past weekend was the first stop on the BRL tour at Tri-State Hobbies. With over 80 racers in attendance there was a lot of close racing. With the switch to 1S for most of the classes for the BRL this was going to be the first race to see how everything would shake down.

Currently in production are CEFX's newest 12th and 10th WGT cars. Not to be confussed with our previous Phoenix t-bar cars, the Griffin is now a link based car to adapt to the needs of 1S Lipo racing.

The sixth and final stop on the MWS tour took us to the host track of the Byron's Challenge in Joliet, IL. The track has been changed since my last visit now featuring really nice permanent curbs.

2009 ROAR Masters National Champion Eli Ezrow- Friday 09 October, 2009

Eli Ezrow dominated the 2009 ROAR Nationals in the Masters division TQing nearly every round of qualifying and winning the final in convincing fashion. The V10 had an impressive showing coming home 2nd in it's ROAR Nationals debut.
